How would your life be different if you had to walk 7 miles to a crowded well to get water for your family. What if you had to carry 40 lbs of water on your back all the way to your house everyday. What if that water you worked so hard to gather was filled with parasites and disease. That's exactly what many lives are like in Kenya today. This long difficult chore of obtaining water must be repeated every day. They're spending countless hours doing this task when they could be building their communities. It's a challenge we want to help them overcome. God has given us the resources to help our brothers and sisters in Kenya. We believe that blessing gives us the opportunity to show these people the love of Christ and provide clean accessible water and many other things. We're also helping train pastors through "Mama and Papa" Fields Bible School in Karatina. God is doing so many wonderful things there. So, what will you do? Why not join us in raising funds for these ministries in Kenya?

So often we get so wrapped up in our own little stories we miss out on what God is doing accross the globe. Right now we believe God is calling us to do whatever it takes to help reach people for Christ in Kenya. We pray you'll join us! If you would like more information about the project please contact us. We would love to share with you what God is doing!

Think About It....

  • Water-related diseases is the single largest killer of infants in developing countries
  • 1.8 million children die each year from diarrhea, which is 4,900 per day
  • The average American uses 150 gallons of water each day to cook, clean and drink. The average African person struggles to find 5 gallons of water each day.
  • Only 61% of Kenya's population has access to an improved drinking water source
  • Nearly half of people in developing countries suffer from water-related diseases
  • On average, women in rural Africa spend 26% of their time each day collecting water, often walking more than five miles each way to the nearest water source, which prevents many of them from working or attending school and puts them at greater risk for sexual harassment and assault
