Hi there I'm so glad you've stopped by. I have the amazing privilige of serving as the student pastor of Elevate Student Ministries. God called my beautiful wife Jennifer and I to serve here in the summer of '05. It's been a life-changing experience for us. We're humbled by what God has done here in Ellijay. We just can't wait to see what God is doing next.

We're just regular people who fell in love with Jesus. He's placed his love for students in our hearts and has given us a passion for young people.

Jennifer and I met at North Georgia College and began serving together through the Baptist Collegiate Ministries there. We continued serving together after college at a church in Gainesville GA. While we served there we fell in love and realized we needed one another. We found that we could have more fun and could serve God better together than apart. So, we were married in 2004. We're so blessed to have each other!

We take very seriously our responsibility to parents, students, and to God Himself to share the love and message of Jesus inside a safe, scripturally sound environment. We believe the Bible is truly God's Word to us. Everything we know about who God is and how we should live is found in it. So, we strive to teach it's Truth to young people and help them apply it to their everyday lives. That's a challenge that we're willing to tackle in God's strength.

"We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching with all wisdom so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy which so powerfully works in me." -Collosians 1:28-29

Jennifer is now the teacher at the Gilmer Christian Learning Center. She's in her 7th year of ministry there and loves it more than ever. The Gilmer CLC is a released time program in which students at Gilmer High School can learn about the Bible in a fun, safe, yet challenging environment...and they get credit for it!
