Go find your work gloves and your yard tools! It's time to get our hands dirty. We are going to spend a half day loving on some special people and serving our community. Specifically, we are going to get out and serve our widows. These amazing women have served and served, raised families, worked hard, and now they deserve some help. They have some real challenges and in some cases, no family to help out. Paying people for work is expensive too. So, we're going to take care of some of the odd jobs they've needed done. We're going to get rid of leaves, mow grass, change light bulbs, pressure wash, and well...anything we can do to show some love to these amazing women. Why the funny name? I'm glad you asked... This whole event is motivated by one verse. James 1:27.

I'm looking forward to it. So, bring your gloves, rakes, and blowers and meet us at the church at 12:00p.m. May 2nd. Eat lunch before you come and come ready to work...so dress accordingly. Ok, so I know some of you are thinking...I'll let the guys handle that...or outside work is not my thing. Well, we're going to assign a few people on each crew to be inside just chatting with the widows. We want them to know we love them and honestly, there's tons we can learn from them. So, we're going to rotate from inside to outside so everybody has a chance to work and chat. Don't miss this chance to give back! See you there.
